Bitcoin casinos on Reddit: what the recommendation is worth

For the same reason no reviews are quoted on the experience page: who stands behind a username cannot be established from outside. A post that sounds like a satisfied player may come from a satisfied player — or out of a marketing budget.

What can be checked is the post itself: its age, its surroundings, how concrete it is and whether it names a result or only a feeling.

1. Does it name a figure? A post naming an amount, a date and a clause is a different thing from one that says “fast withdrawal”. The second form costs nothing and cannot be disproved.
2. Does it name anything negative? An account containing only good things describes either a very short experience or none.
3. How old is the account, and what else does it write about? An account writing about various things for years is a different witness from one that has recommended nothing but casinos for a fortnight.
4. Is there a link with it? A referral link in the post is no proof of dishonesty, but it answers the question about interest. This site has the same interest and writes it under every button.

Two things, and both are explicitly missing from this page:

• Withdrawal times. Anyone who has actually withdrawn knows how long it took. This site does not know and therefore claims it nowhere.
• Customer service. How a support desk answers is an experience. Experiences stand in forums, not in registers.

And two things a comparison does better: looking up the licence number in the register and setting the clause in full beside it. Both are work nobody does in passing in a comment.
